đź’ś A Little Lavender for Your Soul Today

A gentle reminder to nourish yourself this week

An invitation to nourish your skin, your soul, and your sense of stillness.

Good afternoon, beautiful.

I’ve been thinking about what it really means to nourish ourselves. It’s not just about what we eat or how we care for our skin, but how we feed our minds and hearts too. This week, I’ve been slowing down a little, taking time to breathe between tasks, and noticing how even the smallest pauses can feel like nourishment.

Let’s take that thought to the page with this week’s journaling prompt.

Ink & Wildflowers

Word of the week: Nourish

Word garden: gentle • replenish • restore • sustain

When we choose to nourish ourselves, we choose presence. It’s the quiet act of saying, “I matter.” Whether it’s five minutes with a cup of tea or a walk in the garden, nourishment is found in the moments we often overlook.

Creative Journaling Prompt:

Write about one area of your life that feels depleted right now. What would nourishment look like there?

Scripture:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Quote:

“To nourish the soul, we must feed it with stillness.” — Unknown

Lavender & Honey Replenishing Mask

Ingredients:

1 tbsp honey

1 tsp lavender buds (finely crushed)

1 tsp plain yogurt

Directions: Mix together, apply to clean skin, and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse gently with warm water. Your skin will feel soft, calm, and deeply cared for.

As your mask works its magic, you might enjoy this week’s podcast episode:

🎧Hygge for the Soul: Finding Comfort in Aging Gracefully.

As we grow older, comfort takes on new meaning. It’s no longer about chasing youth—but about finding warmth, stillness, and peace in the everyday moments God gives us.

In this episode of Plants, Flowers, Oils & Whimsy, I explore the heart of hygge—the art of coziness—and how it can become a spiritual practice for women embracing the beauty of aging. Learn how slowing down brings radiance, how warmth and light create connection, and how small daily rituals can draw you closer to God.

✨ Listen and be reminded: radiance comes from peace, not pressure.

Radiant Things I’m Loving:

Sitting by the window with morning light on my face.

A spoonful of honey in my tea.
