Rosemary
Rosemary is analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, astringent, digestive, diuretic, stimulant, and tonic. You can use rosemary leaf to stimulate blood circulation in the bath. Adding more rosemary to your diet might help also. A bath in rosemary is also good for backache and sore muscles. To warm and loosen muscles, infuse lavandin, rosemary, and ginger in a massage oil.
Use rosemary when sluggish to revive mental clarity. Use rosemary before taking a test as it is calming and strengthening. Try mixing it with neroli which is helpful in calming the nerves. Rosemary is also great for your hair as it helps prevent dandruff, is good for the scalp, and helps hair growth.
To make a rosemary disinfectant, simmer leaves and small stems for 30 minutes in water, the less water the more concentrated. Strain the liquid and use it to clean sinks and bathrooms. You can add a small amount of dish soap to get rid of grease. Store it in the refrigerator for one week.
Do not use rosemary essential oil if you are pregnant or have epilepsy as it contains a high level of camphor which could cause seizures.
Rosemary is also a good addition to your skincare. In a face cleanser it is invigorating and antiseptic and can boost circulation and give you a deep clean.
A mint rosemary mouthwash can be made with mint, rosemary and aniseed by boiling them in water and infusing for 20 minutes.
For depression, psychological tension or feeling run down after an illness, try a rosemary and lavender infusion taken 3 times a day.
