What I'm Doing This Week
This week, I'm beginning to shift into fall.
One of the things I'll be making is a few batches of fall lip balm, including one with coffee. βπ
I always love this little transition between seasonsβthe first hint that the air will eventually change, the return of cozy flavors, and the excuse to make something warm and comforting.
And honestly, making things with my hands is one of those small things that belongs on my own Things That Replenish Me list.
Measuring.
Melting.
Stirring.
Choosing ingredients.
Pouring everything into little containers.
There is something deeply satisfying about creating something useful and beautiful with your hands.
Maybe that's another thing I'll carry with me from this month:
Pay attention to the things that bring you back to yourself.
They may seem small.
But small things have a way of becoming roots.
Until next Monday,
Carrie
