🧴 DIY Recipe: Peppermint + Chamomile Cooling Compress

This is great for calming redness, cooling down after time in the sun, or just feeling more grounded.

You’ll need:

  • 1 tsp dried peppermint
  • 1 tsp dried chamomile
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Soft cloth or cotton pad

To make:

  1. Steep herbs in the hot water, covered, for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Strain and let cool.
  3. Soak your cloth in the herbal tea and place it gently over your face.
  4. Rest, breathe, and enjoy for 5–10 minutes.

Tip: Store the tea in the fridge and use as a splash or mist throughout the day!

🌿 Plant of the Week: Peppermint

Refreshing, cooling, and invigorating, peppermint is a summer skincare staple. It's naturally astringent and gently antibacterial—perfect for hot, tired, or blemish-prone skin. Use it in:

  • Compresses and mists
  • Facial steams with rose or lavender
  • Tea blends to cool you from the inside out

Peppermint reminds us that a little breath of fresh air is always just one leaf away.
