What if you saw yourself the way God does?

A gentle reminder: you are wonderfully made

Hello, beautiful souls,

I’ve been catching myself rushing again, skipping my journaling, half-whispering my prayers, moving too quickly through the little rituals that make me feel whole. It’s so easy to drift away from the practices that anchor us, isn’t it?

This week, God has been gently reminding me to slow down and see again… to notice the light, the texture of stillness, and even my own reflection through His eyes. Because when we pause long enough to look with grace, we often find that the beauty we’ve been chasing was already there, waiting to be seen.

Maybe this week is really about learning to see with softness. Not just our surroundings, but ourselves. To look past the noise, the lists, the expectations, and find the quiet truth of who we are in God’s eyes.

Word of the Week: See

Word Garden: reflection • wonder • clarity • grace

We spend so much time looking at ourselves that we forget to look into ourselves and see the story, the resilience, the quiet radiance God has written there.

Scripture:

“I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:14

Quote:

“Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.” — Coco Chanel

Creative Journaling Prompt:
Sit near a mirror in soft light and write:

  • What do I notice first when I see myself?
  • What might God notice instead?
  • How can I choose to look at myself with the same love He does?

Then, close your journal and whisper: “Thank You, Lord, for the beauty You’ve placed in me.”

🌿 Radiant Things I’m Loving

A weekly invitation to live more slowly and notice beauty.

  • Watching leaves swirl across the porch.
  • Warm oatmeal with maple and cinnamon in the morning
  • 80s music while I write (or listening to royal gossip on YouTube)
  • A reminder: the more gently we treat ourselves, the more light we reflect

Have a great day!

P.S. This week, try the mirror blessing from the podcast. Whisper, “I am wonderfully made.” It’s amazing how those words begin to heal how we see ourselves.
